WorkBuddy + LibTV: Turn Raw Assets into Finished AI Videos Without Touching an Editor
This is Canghe's 614th original article!
Hello everyone, I am Canghe.
I discovered that the AI video expert team I built on WorkBuddy a few months ago has reached 169,200 calls.
That's terrifying. It seems many people want to make AI videos in WorkBuddy.
Don't even mention it. Now when I scroll through video feeds, at least 2 out of 10 posts are AI short dramas. Over the past few days I've watched at least one AI short drama per day, and the plots are so satisfying that I think I'm addicted.
Generally, this kind of AI video can't be made with just my expert team skill. You usually need professional AI video tools like LibTV.
But I found that WorkBuddy now has a LibTV connector? When did that get added???
That means I can directly generate more professional and awesome AI videos in WorkBuddy. How great is that!
So after connecting LibTV, I tried to make a product promo video for my product WeSight, intended for an exhibition.
One convenient thing about using it in WorkBuddy is that you can directly select the folder containing your assets as context, then call LibTV to generate the video. Very convenient.
These assets don't need to be uploaded one by one to a platform. They're already on my local machine. WorkBuddy automatically invokes agents to handle them, then uses LibTV to generate the video.
WorkBuddy extracts selling points, plans the creative, then calls LibTV to complete the script, storyboarding, and video generation.
The video generation progress can also be viewed directly on the LibTV canvas.
After all that effort from WorkBuddy and LibTV, a great product promo video was generated, and it even thoughtfully used WeSight's brand colors.
A few days ago, we set up a booth at the Guancha Conference. Many people came to ask about our products, and we shot a lot of video footage.
I thought about making some videos after the conference, but when I saw that we'd shot nearly 5 GB of video, I was overwhelmed. Picking through that material would kill me.
So I told WorkBuddy to use the folder with those videos as the workspace, and with LibTV, it generated an exhibition VLOG for me.
It worked on its own, creating within LibTV, handling storyboarding, tracking replacement, camera movements, etc.
It generated a pretty decent VLOG video, and I didn't do anything except send a command and connect the LibTV connector.
When I opened the LibTV canvas, the same node-based creative workflow was visible there.
This way, existing ideas and assets flow directly into LibTV's professional production process through the work context.
No need to re-organize assets, repeatedly explain requirements, or switch between tools. WorkBuddy understands and plans, LibTV takes over creation at any time.
Combined with controlling WorkBuddy from your phone, creation becomes that simple, anytime and anywhere.
In other words, anything you do in WorkBuddy can be turned into a video! It greatly reduces repetitive communication and asset shuffling.
LibTV has many useful trending skills. You can also search for popular videos directly in WorkBuddy and then replicate them.
If you need to make TVC ads for your product or create some video assets for social media in WorkBuddy, you can now do it like this.
Drop your product image to WorkBuddy. For example, I dropped a silk scarf product image.
Then I entered this prompt in WorkBuddy.
You can see that WorkBuddy calls LibTV's professional capabilities to create shot plans, visual settings, and generation plans.
Finally, the finished video was saved directly to my computer, ready to use.
Also, LibTV produces videos at a lower cost: 3 RMB for a brand film, 5 RMB for an episode of a short drama, unlimited creation. Awesome!
Below I'll share the exact usage steps. It's actually very simple, just 2 steps. First, in WorkBuddy's "Expert-Skills-Connectors", select Connectors and search for LibTV.
After selecting Connect, you need to do a simple authorization, just click Allow.
Then you can use the connector. Click "New Task", click "+" in the task window, select "Connector", search for "LibTV", and when the LibTV button in the dropdown turns green, it's ready. Then type your requirement in the chat box.
This practice and tutorial will also be synced to our "WorkBuddy Practical Blue Book" as soon as possible. You can check that too.

In the past, making a video required writing scripts, finding assets, editing, and adding music. One person had to work like an entire team.
Now WorkBuddy does the thinking, LibTV does the making, and I just drink coffee and wait for the finished piece.
Honestly, after this experience, I feel the barrier to AI video has shifted from knowing how to edit to daring to imagine.
Tools keep changing, but one thing never changes: good content is always scarce, and good ideas are always valuable.
Those 5 GB of assets collecting dust on your hard drive, those videos you've been putting off making, can now actually get started.
Don't let your ideas die at the step of opening the editing software.
What kind of AI video would you most like to make? Leave a comment, and maybe I'll make it for you in the next episode.
If you found this useful, give it a like, a bookmark, and a share. See you next time.
